Paul Le Blanc (historian)

Paul Le Blanc is an American Marxist historian, writer, and activist. He is known for his scholarship on socialist and labor movements, particularly the history of the U.S. Socialist Workers Party and the life and thought of Leon Trotsky.

Le Blanc's work often focuses on recovering and re-evaluating neglected aspects of socialist history and theory. He emphasizes the importance of democratic and internationalist principles within socialist movements. He is also a proponent of historical materialism and class analysis.
