Papozze

Papozze is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 60 kilometers southwest of Venice and about 12 kilometers southeast of Rovigo.

Papozze is situated in the Po Delta, a fertile agricultural area. The economy is primarily based on agriculture, with notable crops including cereals, vegetables, and fruit.

Historically, the area was subject to frequent flooding from the Po River. Land reclamation efforts have been undertaken over centuries to mitigate this risk and make the land arable.

The municipality borders the following comuni: Adria, Ariano nel Polesine, Corbola, Donada, Loreo, Rosolina.
