Ox-Tales

Ox-Tales refers to a series of short story anthologies published in the United Kingdom to raise money for Oxfam. Each anthology features a collection of original short stories, typically written by well-known authors, all loosely connected by a common theme. The first anthology, Ox-Tales: Fire, was published in 2009. Subsequent anthologies have explored other themes, such as water, air, and earth, following the classical elements framework. The project's aim is to combine literary creativity with charitable fundraising, offering readers high-quality short fiction while simultaneously supporting Oxfam's efforts to combat poverty and suffering worldwide. Royalties from the sales of the Ox-Tales series are donated to Oxfam. The anthologies have garnered critical acclaim for the diversity of voices and the quality of the storytelling.
