Hrymailiv

Hrymailiv is a town in Chortkiv Raion, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. Located on the Hnizna River, it is situated approximately 35 kilometers southwest of Ternopil.

Historically, Hrymailiv (also spelled Grzymałów in Polish) has a rich past, including periods under Polish and Austrian rule. Its historical significance stems from its location along important trade routes and its status as a local administrative center. The town's Jewish population was significant before the Holocaust.

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Hrymailiv became part of independent Ukraine. Today, the town is primarily agricultural, with some local industries.
