Bootzilla

Bootzilla is a hypothetical software application, system, or process characterized by excessive size, complexity, and resource consumption during startup or operation. It is often used metaphorically to describe bloated software that takes an inordinate amount of time to initialize or requires significantly more system resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O) than is reasonably expected for its functionality. The term often implies inefficient coding practices or a poorly optimized architecture. Bootzilla might also refer to a program with an unnecessarily long or complicated boot process.
