Otto Becker (equestrian)

Otto Becker (born 3 December 1958 in Großostheim, Bavaria) is a German equestrian and show jumping coach.

Becker competed in multiple Olympic Games. He won a bronze medal in the team show jumping event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He also competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Since 2009, Becker has served as the chef d'équipe (team manager) and national coach of the German show jumping team. Under his leadership, the German team has achieved considerable success, including winning team gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and numerous medals at World Championships and European Championships. He is considered a highly respected figure in the world of equestrian sport.
