Bo Wallace (baseball)

Bo Wallace is an American former professional baseball player. Wallace played shortstop and was known primarily for his defensive abilities. He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 2nd round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft out of Dallas High School in Dallas, Oregon.

Wallace played in the Athletics' minor league system from 2008 to 2015, reaching as high as the Triple-A level with the Sacramento River Cats. He was a consistent presence defensively, but struggled to develop offensively. Throughout his minor league career, he was considered a glove-first prospect, valued for his fielding prowess and arm strength.

After his playing career ended, Wallace transitioned into coaching. He has held various coaching positions, primarily focusing on player development and instruction at the minor league level.
