Beyond (Canadian TV series)

Beyond is a Canadian television science fiction drama series that premiered on Family Channel in Canada on November 25, 2016, and on Freeform in the United States on January 1, 2017. Created by Adam Nussdorf, the series focuses on Holden Matthews, a young man who wakes up from a 12-year coma with new abilities and finds himself in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.

The show follows Holden as he tries to understand what happened to him during his coma and the source of his newfound powers, while also attempting to reconnect with his family and friends. He quickly learns that he is being hunted by various forces, including a mysterious organization known as Hollow Sky, who believe that Holden is destined to play a crucial role in a prophecy involving a parallel realm called the Realm.

The series stars Burkely Duffield as Holden Matthews, Romy Rosemont as Diane Matthews, Michael McGrady as Tom Matthews, Jonathan Whitesell as Luke Villers, Dilan Gwyn as Willa, and Eden Brolin as Charlie.

Beyond ran for two seasons. The first season consisted of ten episodes and the second season also contained ten episodes. The series was cancelled by Freeform in March 2018.
