Tom McLean (footballer, born 1876)

Tom McLean (born in Renton, Scotland in 1876, date of death unknown) was a Scottish footballer who played as a centre forward.

McLean began his senior career with Scottish League side Renton. He then moved south to England and joined Newton Heath in 1897. He made a single appearance for Newton Heath in the Football League First Division against Derby County on 18 September 1897, replacing Joe Cassidy. He was released by Newton Heath in 1898. His subsequent career is currently undocumented.
