S2 Yachts

S2 Yachts was an American boat manufacturing company, best known for producing Tiara Yachts and Pursuit Boats. Founded in 1956 by Leon Slikkers in Holland, Michigan, the company initially produced small sailboats. Over time, S2 Yachts expanded its product line to include larger, luxury yachts and sport fishing boats.

The Tiara Yachts brand, introduced in the 1970s, became synonymous with high-quality construction, luxurious appointments, and seaworthy designs. Tiara Yachts are typically known for their comfortable cruising capabilities.

The Pursuit Boats brand, also manufactured by S2 Yachts, focuses on center console and dual console boats designed primarily for fishing and watersports. Pursuit Boats are known for their performance and durable construction.

Leon Slikkers eventually retired, and the company ownership transitioned to his sons. While the S2 Yachts name is less frequently used publicly, the company continues to operate and manufacture boats under the Tiara Yachts and Pursuit Boats brands. The company’s boats are distributed through a network of dealers worldwide.
