Tom Manning (American football)

Tom Manning is an American football coach. He is currently the tight ends coach for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL).

Manning's coaching career began at Mount Union as a graduate assistant in 2002. He then spent time at Ashland University and Toledo before landing at Iowa State as the offensive line coach from 2009 to 2011. He then served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Emporia State University from 2012 to 2013.

Manning returned to Iowa State in 2016 as the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach. He left Iowa State after the 2018 season to become the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts in 2019. He was fired by the Colts after the season and returned to Iowa State for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He was the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach in his second stint with the Cyclones. He returned to the Indianapolis Colts in 2022 as the tight ends coach, a position he currently holds.
