Ole Hegge

Ole Hegge (1898-1994) was a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed in the 1920s and 1930s. He won a silver medal in the 18 km event at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz. In addition to his Olympic medal, Hegge won multiple medals at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, a prestigious annual competition in Norway. He was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1929. Following his competitive career, Hegge remained involved in skiing and served in various administrative roles within the sport. He is considered one of Norway's significant contributors to the history of cross-country skiing.
