Go North (film)

Go North is a 2017 American dystopian action-thriller film directed by Matthew Ogens. The film stars Jacob Lofland, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Patrick Schwarzenegger, James Bloor, and Josh Hopkins.

The plot centers on a group of teenagers living in a near-future Detroit that has been abandoned by adults and left to ruin. The teens create a self-sustaining community, but their idyllic existence is threatened by a gang of ruthless enforcers led by a charismatic sociopath (played by Schwarzenegger), who seek to control the limited resources. Two of the teens, Josh (Lofland) and Sophie (Clark), embark on a dangerous journey north in search of help and a better life.

Go North explores themes of survival, societal breakdown, the importance of community, and the dangers of unchecked power. It was released on January 13, 2017.
