Neil Edwards (cricketer)
Neil Edwards is a former English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Leicestershire between 1988 and 1994. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Edwards played primarily as a middle-order batsman. He made his first-class debut in 1988 and played in a total of 69 first-class matches, scoring over 2,500 runs with a highest score of 112. He also played List A cricket, appearing in 54 matches. Following his professional cricket career, Edwards pursued a career in education, working as a teacher.
