Myrkgrav

Myrkgrav is a one-man black metal project from Norway, formed in 2003 by Lars Are Nedland. Myrkgrav distinguishes itself through its unique blend of traditional Norwegian folk music elements incorporated into a black metal framework. The project's lyrical themes often explore historical, mythological, and folkloric narratives from Nedland's local region of Ringerike, Norway.

Myrkgrav's music typically features harsh vocals characteristic of black metal, juxtaposed with clean vocals and the use of folk instruments such as the langeleik (a Norwegian stringed instrument), flutes, and various forms of percussion. The discography of Myrkgrav primarily consists of the full-length albums Trollskau, Skrømt og Kølabrenning (2006) and Mortals Transcendence (2016), along with several demos and EPs.
