Finschia
Finschia is the name of a permissionless, open-source layer-1 blockchain protocol initially developed by LINE Blockchain. It is governed by the Finschia Foundation, a non-profit organization established in South Korea. Finschia is designed to support a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps), focusing particularly on Web3 services and the development of a digital asset ecosystem.
The Finschia network utilizes a Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus mechanism, aiming for high transaction throughput and fast finality. The blockchain's architecture is designed to be scalable and adaptable to evolving technological demands.
A key feature of Finschia is its focus on interoperability with other blockchain networks. Efforts are made to facilitate the seamless transfer of assets and data between Finschia and other platforms.
The native cryptocurrency of the Finschia blockchain is called FINSCHIA (formerly LINK). This token is used for transaction fees, staking, and governance participation within the Finschia ecosystem. Tokenomics are managed to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the network.
The Finschia Foundation actively promotes community involvement and developer support through various programs and initiatives. This includes grant programs, hackathons, and educational resources to foster innovation and adoption of the Finschia blockchain.
