Larry McCoy (umpire)

Larry McCoy is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) umpire. He wore uniform number 72.

McCoy's MLB career spanned from 1989 to 2012. He officiated in the American League Championship Series in 1996, 1999, 2003, and 2006, as well as the 2002 World Series. He also umpired in the 1992 All-Star Game.

Known for his professionalism and knowledge of the rules, McCoy was generally regarded as a reliable and respected umpire during his tenure. His retirement from MLB occurred at the end of the 2012 season.
