B.O.B. (video game)
B.O.B. is a 2D side-scrolling platform shooter video game developed by Gray Matter Interactive and published by Electronic Arts in 1993. It was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.
The game follows the titular character, B.O.B. (Born On Board), a delinquent teenager from a futuristic society. After crashing his father's space vehicle on a mission to impress a girl, B.O.B. must fight his way through various levels populated by hostile aliens and robots to return home.
B.O.B. features a variety of weapons and power-ups that the player can collect and use to defeat enemies. The gameplay emphasizes fast-paced action and exploration, with hidden areas and secrets to discover. B.O.B. can run, jump, slide, climb, and use a jetpack for short bursts of flight.
