Moose River (New Hampshire)
The Moose River is a short river located in Coös County, northern New Hampshire, United States. It is a tributary of the Androscoggin River, which flows south and east into Maine, eventually reaching the Atlantic Ocean.
The river is known for its relatively undeveloped character and scenic beauty, flowing through a predominantly forested area. It is popular for recreational activities such as fishing and canoeing/kayaking, although its small size can make navigation challenging in some areas.
The Moose River's watershed is primarily within the White Mountain National Forest. While not a major river in terms of size or length, it contributes to the overall water resources of the Androscoggin watershed.
