Smoke and Mirrors (Lynch Mob album)

Smoke and Mirrors is the second studio album by American hard rock band Lynch Mob, released in 1990. It featured a revamped lineup compared to their debut album, Wicked Sensation, with only guitarist George Lynch and vocalist Oni Logan returning. The album saw the additions of bassist Anthony Esposito and drummer Brian Tichy.

The album's sound diverged somewhat from the blues-rock influences prominent on Wicked Sensation, incorporating a more polished and commercially oriented hard rock approach typical of the era. While retaining Lynch's signature guitar work, the overall songwriting and production leaned towards a more mainstream appeal.

Smoke and Mirrors spawned several singles, including "No Good", which received significant airplay on rock radio and MTV. Other notable tracks included "Tangled in the Web" and "All I Want".

Despite the band's efforts and promotional support, Smoke and Mirrors did not achieve the same level of commercial success as its predecessor. However, it is still considered a solid hard rock album by many fans and remains a part of the Lynch Mob's discography. The album showcased the band's ability to adapt to changing trends in the music industry while still maintaining their own distinct sound.
