Yuli Ofer

Yuli Ofer (יולי עופר), also sometimes spelled "Yuli Offer," (born 1924, died 2011) was an Israeli businessman and entrepreneur. He was a prominent figure in the Israeli shipping, real estate, and investment industries.

Ofer, along with his brother Sammy Ofer, built a vast business empire known as the Ofer Brothers Group. This group held significant interests in Zim Integrated Shipping Services, Israel Corporation, and other large companies.

While Sammy Ofer often took a more public role, Yuli Ofer was known for being a more private figure within the business. The Ofer Brothers Group’s activities were often subject to public and media scrutiny, particularly related to international shipping and business dealings.

After Yuli Ofer's death, his descendants continued to be involved in business and investment activities. His legacy lies in his contribution to the development of key sectors of the Israeli economy.
