Gigantic (musical)

Gigantic is a musical with music by Randy Blair and Timmy Michael Schmidt, lyrics by Randy Blair, and a book by Randy Blair and Timmy Michael Schmidt. It is loosely based on the 1998 film Little Giants, shifting the setting to a weight-loss camp for teens.

The musical follows the story of a group of overweight teenagers attending Camp Overton, a weight-loss camp, as they navigate issues of body image, self-acceptance, love, and friendship. The plot centers on the rivalries and camaraderie between campers as they prepare for the annual "Camp Overton Games." The musical features a pop-infused score and explores themes of identity, societal pressures, and the challenges of adolescence.

Gigantic has had several productions, including a New York premiere in 2012 at the Vineyard Theatre, directed by Scott Schwartz. The production received mixed reviews.
