Dodge Viper (ZB II)

The Dodge Viper (ZB II) refers to the fourth generation of the Dodge Viper sports car, produced by Dodge from 2008 to 2010. This generation represented a significant evolution of the Viper, building upon the performance and aggressive styling of its predecessors.

The ZB II Viper retained the iconic long hood, short deck proportions that defined the model. Key changes included a revised 8.4-liter V10 engine, producing 600 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. This represented an increase in both horsepower and torque compared to the previous generation. The engine was coupled with a six-speed manual transmission.

Styling updates for the ZB II included a redesigned front fascia, hood vents to improve cooling, and subtle alterations to the rear end. Interior enhancements focused on improved materials and ergonomics.

The ZB II generation was offered in two primary models: the Viper SRT10 coupe and the Viper SRT10 convertible. Performance figures for the ZB II Viper included a 0-60 mph time in approximately 3.5 seconds.

Production of the Dodge Viper ZB II ceased in 2010 due to Chrysler's financial difficulties and subsequent restructuring. The Viper would later return with the fifth generation (VX I).
