Michael Jones (Virginia politician)

Michael Jones is an American politician from the Commonwealth of Virginia. He currently represents the 77th district in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Jones was first elected to the House of Delegates in November 2017 and assumed office in January 2018. He is a member of the Democratic Party. His district includes portions of the city of Richmond.

During his time in the House of Delegates, Jones has served on various committees, including those related to education, health, and welfare. He has sponsored and supported legislation on issues such as healthcare access, gun violence prevention, and education funding.

Prior to his election to the House of Delegates, Jones worked as a community organizer and advocate. He has a background in public health.
