Fred Walker (footballer, born 1878)

Fred Walker (born 1878, date of death unknown) was an English footballer who played as an outside left.

Walker began his professional career at Small Heath (later Birmingham) in 1898. He played only a handful of games for the club over two seasons before moving to New Brompton (later Gillingham) in 1900. He was a regular in the Gillingham team for four seasons, making over 100 appearances and scoring over 20 goals. He then moved to Brentford, where he continued to play regularly before retiring from professional football.
