Aerotropolis (album)

Aerotropolis is the second studio album by the instrumental progressive metal band, Animals as Leaders. It was released on March 23, 2010, through Prosthetic Records. The album's title refers to an aerotropolis, a metropolitan subregion whose infrastructure, land use, and economy are centered around an airport, creating a symbiotic relationship.

The album features eight tracks, showcasing the band's technical proficiency and complex arrangements. It builds upon the sound established in their self-titled debut, further exploring intricate rhythms, polyrhythms, and melodic passages. Tosin Abasi and Javier Reyes contribute guitar work, while Navene Koperweis handles drum programming and production.
