John Roberts (rower)

John Roberts (born April 27, 1950) is a Canadian rower who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Roberts was a member of the Canadian crew that won the silver medal in the eights event at the Montreal Games. The crew included Blair Horn, Bob Janzen, Ed Makela, Geoff Stilwell, Grant Stevenson, Phil Jackson, and Paul Steele, with Brian McMahon as coxswain.

Prior to the Olympics, Roberts rowed for the University of British Columbia. He continued to be involved in the sport after his competitive career, serving in administrative and coaching roles.
