Lucas Michel Mendes, commonly known as Lucas Mendes, (born July 3, 1990) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back.

Career

Mendes began his professional career in Brazil, playing for various clubs including Coritiba. He gained prominence playing for Olympique de Marseille in France, where he played from 2012 to 2014. During his time with Marseille, he was a regular in the team's defense. After Marseille, he moved to Qatar, playing for El Jaish SC and Al Gharafa.
