Alameda Theatre (Alameda, California)

The Alameda Theatre is a historic movie palace located in Alameda, California. Opened in 1932, it was designed in the Art Deco style by architect Timothy L. Pflueger, who also designed other notable theaters in the San Francisco Bay Area. The theatre originally served as a venue for both film screenings and live stage performances.

After falling into disrepair and eventually closing in the 1980s, the Alameda Theatre underwent a major renovation and restoration project, spearheaded by the City of Alameda and other stakeholders.
