Lisa (South Korean singer)

Lisa (born Pranpriya Manoban, later Lalisa Manoban, on March 27, 1997), is a Thai rapper, singer, and dancer based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, formed by YG Entertainment.

Born and raised in Buriram Province, Thailand, Lisa developed an interest in performing arts from a young age. She was part of a dance crew called We Zaa Cool alongside BamBam of GOT7. In 2010, she auditioned for YG Entertainment and was the only individual accepted into the label from YG's audition in Thailand.

Lisa trained with YG Entertainment for five years before debuting as one of four members of Blackpink in August 2016. As a member of Blackpink, she has achieved international recognition with hit songs such as "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," "Kill This Love," "How You Like That," and "Lovesick Girls."

In addition to her group activities, Lisa made her solo debut with the single album Lalisa in September 2021. The title track of the same name broke numerous records and cemented her status as a solo artist.

Lisa is known for her rapping skills, dancing abilities, and charismatic stage presence. She has received numerous awards and nominations for her work as a member of Blackpink and as a solo artist. She also serves as a global ambassador for various luxury brands, solidifying her influence in the fashion and entertainment industries.
