John Braun (baseball)

John Braun is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) player. While sharing a similar name to Ryan Braun, a prominent player for the Milwaukee Brewers, John Braun is a different individual. John Braun was a right-handed pitcher who played for the Atlanta Braves in 1992 and 1993. He was drafted by the Braves in the 10th round of the 1987 MLB Draft. His MLB career was relatively brief, appearing in 11 games and pitching a total of 17.2 innings. He recorded 13 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.57.
