Lee Yong-soo (activist)

Lee Yong-soo (born December 16, 1928) is a South Korean activist and survivor of sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II, often referred to as a "comfort woman." She is a prominent voice in the movement seeking acknowledgment, apology, and reparations from the Japanese government for the suffering endured by women like herself.

Lee Yong-soo has dedicated decades to sharing her personal experiences and advocating for justice for the victims of wartime sexual slavery.
