Kep1er

Kep1er, stylized as Kep1er (Korean: 케플러; RR: Kepeulleo), is a South Korean-Japanese girl group formed through the Mnet reality survival show Girls Planet 999. The group is managed by Wake One Entertainment and Swing Entertainment.

Kep1er consists of nine members: Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Youngeun, and Yeseo. The name "Kep1er" is derived from Johannes Kepler, a scientist who explored the planets. The "Kep" represents the dream of catching dreams, and the "1" symbolizes the nine girls uniting to become the best. The group's official fandom name is "Kep1ian."

Kep1er debuted on January 3, 2022, with the extended play First Impact and its title track "WA DA DA". The group is under contract for two and a half years and aims to promote both in South Korea and internationally. Their music generally falls under the K-pop genre, often incorporating elements of pop, dance, and electronic music.

Following Girls Planet 999, anticipation for Kep1er's debut was high, and their early releases achieved commercial success.
