Ken Harada (politician)

Ken Harada (原田 謙介, Harada Kensuke, born January 20, 1975) is a Japanese politician. He is a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature) representing Hiroshima Prefecture.

Harada was first elected to the House of Councillors in 2016 as an independent. He later joined the Democratic Party for the People (DPFP).

During his time in the Diet, Harada has focused on issues related to regional development, social welfare, and constitutional revision. He has also been involved in discussions regarding national security and foreign policy.

Harada graduated from Keio University. Prior to entering politics, he worked in the private sector. His political positions are generally considered to be conservative. He is associated with advocating for stronger local economies and traditional values.
