Juha (1956 film)

Juha is a 1956 Finnish film directed by Toivo Särkkä. It is based on the novel Juha by Juhani Aho. The film tells the tragic story of Juha, a simple farmer, his wife Marja, and the merchant Shemeikka. Marja is lured away by Shemeikka with promises of a better life, leaving Juha heartbroken.
