GAZ-3110

The GAZ-3110 "Volga" is a mid-size car produced by the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) in Russia from 1997 to 2005. It was a modernization of the GAZ-31029, retaining much of its predecessor's structure but featuring updated styling, interior, and mechanical components. The GAZ-3110 aimed to offer improved comfort, safety, and performance compared to earlier Volga models while remaining relatively affordable.

Key improvements over the GAZ-31029 included a more contemporary exterior design, a redesigned dashboard and interior, and upgraded suspension and braking systems. Engine options typically included a 2.3-liter ZMZ-402 inline-four gasoline engine and a 2.5-liter ZMZ-406 inline-four gasoline engine, with the latter featuring electronic fuel injection.

The GAZ-3110 was available in sedan and estate (wagon) body styles. While initially intended as a step towards a more modern and competitive vehicle, it eventually faced increasing competition from imported cars and ultimately production ceased in 2005, making way for newer models. The Volga marque itself has since been discontinued.
