Jack Bailey (New South Wales politician)

Jack Bailey (born 24 January 1911, died 19 June 1971) was an Australian politician who served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. He represented the electorate of Blacktown from 1950 to 1971 for the Australian Labor Party (ALP).

Bailey was a boilermaker and trade union official before entering politics. He was active in the Labor movement and held various positions within the Federated Ironworkers' Association of Australia.

During his time in parliament, Bailey was a strong advocate for the western suburbs of Sydney, focusing on issues such as infrastructure development, education, and employment. He served on various parliamentary committees. He held the seat of Blacktown until his death in 1971.
