Melody's Echo Chamber (album)
Melody's Echo Chamber is the self-titled debut studio album by French dream pop/psychedelic pop artist Melody Prochet, under the moniker Melody's Echo Chamber. It was released on September 28, 2012, in Europe and October 16, 2012, in North America via Fat Possum Records and Weird World Record Co.
The album was co-produced by Prochet and Kevin Parker of the Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala, who was also Prochet's romantic partner at the time. The recording process took place in various locations, including Prochet's grandmother's seaside house in France and Parker's home studio in Perth, Australia.
Melody's Echo Chamber is characterized by its lush, reverb-drenched soundscapes, incorporating elements of psychedelic pop, shoegaze, and dream pop.
