Rosé, born Ross McCorkell, is an American drag queen, singer, and actor known for competing on the thirteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she placed as a runner-up.
Career:
Prior to drag, McCorkell was a member of the boy band and performance group Stephanie's Child, alongside Jan Sport and Lagoona Bloo, also known for their presence in the New York City drag scene. She also has experience in musical theatre.
Rosé's drag persona is characterized by her high-energy performances, comedic timing, and polished aesthetic, often incorporating elements of pop music and camp. Her appearance on RuPaul's Drag Race significantly elevated her profile, leading to increased opportunities in music, television, and live performance.
