José Rodríguez (pitcher, born 1995)

José Rodríguez (born June 27, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels (2020-2021) and the Cleveland Guardians (2023).

Rodríguez signed with the Los Angeles Angels as an international free agent in 2012. He made his professional debut in 2013 with the Dominican Summer League Angels. He worked his way through the Angels' minor league system, playing for various affiliates including the Orem Owlz, Inland Empire 66ers, Burlington Bees, and Mobile BayBears.

Rodríguez made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Angels on July 24, 2020. He was used primarily as a relief pitcher.

In December 2022, Rodríguez was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Guardians. He was assigned to the Triple-A Columbus Clippers and was called up to the Guardians major league roster during the 2023 season.
