Joy in the Morning (film)

Joy in the Morning is a 1965 American historical romantic drama film directed by Curtis Harrington and starring Richard Chamberlain and Yvette Mimieux. It is based on the 1963 novel of the same name by Betty Smith, author of "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." The film portrays the early years of a young couple's marriage in Bloomington, Indiana in the 1890s while the husband attends law school.
