Eyach (Neckar)
The Eyach is a river in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Neckar.
The Eyach rises in the Black Forest, near Baiersbronn. It flows generally eastwards through Freudenstadt, Horb am Neckar, and Eutingen im Gäu before joining the Neckar near Neckarhausen. The length of the Eyach is approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles).
The river's drainage basin is heavily forested in its upper reaches and more agricultural in its lower parts. Several smaller towns and villages are situated along its banks. The Eyach is used for recreational purposes such as fishing and canoeing, although its water quality can be affected by agricultural runoff. The river also plays a role in local flood control measures.
