Quesillo

Quesillo (also known as Quesillo Venezolano) is a traditional Venezuelan dessert similar to flan or crème caramel. It is made with eggs, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and often rum. The mixture is cooked in a bain-marie (water bath) until set. The resulting dessert has a smooth, creamy texture with a rich, sweet flavor. A caramel syrup is typically poured into the mold before the quesillo mixture, creating a distinctive layer on top when unmolded.
