UD Arena
UD Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in Dayton, Ohio, on the campus of the University of Dayton. It is the home of the Dayton Flyers men's and women's basketball teams. Opened in 1969, it has undergone several renovations and expansions throughout its history to increase seating capacity and improve amenities.
UD Arena is known for its intense atmosphere and strong home-court advantage for the Flyers. The arena has hosted numerous Atlantic 10 Conference championships and NCAA Tournament games, including the First Four, the opening round of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, annually since 2001 (except for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The arena's consistent hosting of the First Four has made it a prominent location within college basketball.
The arena has also hosted concerts, conventions, and other sporting events. Its location near Interstate 75 makes it easily accessible for events drawing attendees from throughout the region.
