Jimmy Harrower (footballer, born 1935)
Jimmy Harrower (born 1935) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an outside right.
Harrower began his career with junior club Irvine Meadow before joining English side Newcastle United in 1955. He did not make a first-team appearance for Newcastle and subsequently returned to Scotland, signing for St Mirren in 1956.
He played for St Mirren for several seasons, becoming a regular in the first team and contributing to their Scottish Cup-winning team of 1959. Harrower was known for his pace and ability to cross the ball.
After leaving St Mirren, Harrower played for Queen of the South. Details of his career after Queen of the South are currently limited.
