Jigsaw (wrestler)
Jigsaw (born Michael David Spillane on January 6, 1984) is an American professional wrestler best known for his work in Chikara, Ring of Honor (ROH), and Evolve. He is a former Chikara Young Lions Cup winner and Campeonatos de Parejas (Tag Team Champion) with Quackenbush.
Jigsaw's wrestling style is characterized by its fast-paced, high-flying maneuvers and technical proficiency. He began his training at the Chikara Wrestle Factory and quickly became a popular figure in the independent wrestling scene. His early career was marked by his participation in the Young Lions Cup tournament, which he eventually won.
He formed a successful tag team with Quackenbush known as Team FIST (Fighting Irish Strong Team), winning the Campeonatos de Parejas. He has also wrestled extensively as a singles competitor, facing top talents on the independent circuit.
Beyond Chikara, Jigsaw competed in Ring of Honor, making appearances on their television program and pay-per-view events. He has also worked for Evolve and other prominent independent promotions.
Spillane has also worked as a trainer at the Wrestle Factory, contributing to the development of up-and-coming professional wrestlers. His dedication to wrestling and his contributions to the independent scene have earned him a respected reputation amongst peers and fans.
Jigsaw announced his retirement from professional wrestling in 2019.
