My Husband and I (1956 TV series)

My Husband and I was an American situation comedy that aired on CBS from January 3, 1956, to September 25, 1957. The show starred real-life married couple, Jane Wyatt and Robert Young, who also starred in the radio program of the same name.

The series revolved around the daily lives of George and Jane opposite real-life couple, George and Jane, two ordinary people navigating the challenges and joys of married life in a typical American suburb. The humor was generally gentle and focused on relatable situations.

Although My Husband and I featured well-known actors, it did not achieve the same level of popularity as some of its contemporaries. It was ultimately cancelled after two seasons. Reruns of the series were not widely syndicated.
