Jerry Odom (American football)

Jerry Odom (born July 25, 1969) is an American football coach. He most recently served as the inside linebackers coach for the University of Nevada, Reno.

Coaching Career

Odom has a long and varied coaching career spanning both college and professional football. Prior to Nevada, he served as the defensive coordinator at the University of Maryland, the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB), and Jackson State University. He also held positions as linebackers coach at the University of Oklahoma and assistant coach at several other institutions.

His career also includes time in the Canadian Football League (CFL), where he served as a defensive coordinator. Throughout his career, Odom has been known for his aggressive defensive schemes and ability to develop talent.

Playing Career

Odom played college football as a linebacker at the University of Florida, where he was a standout player.
