Osenik

Osenik is a small village located in the municipality of Hadžići, Sarajevo Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated in a hilly region, characterized by forests and pastures. The population is relatively small and predominantly engaged in agriculture and livestock farming.

Historically, Osenik has been a part of the wider Hadžići area, sharing its historical trajectory which includes periods under Ottoman rule and Austro-Hungarian administration, followed by its incorporation into Yugoslavia. More recently, it was affected by the Bosnian War in the 1990s.
