Bob Franklin (comedian)

Bob Franklin is an Australian comedian, writer, actor, director, and musician. He is best known for his dark and absurdist humor, often delivered in a deadpan style.

Franklin began his career in comedy as part of the sketch comedy group The D-Generation in the late 1980s and early 1990s, which also featured Tom Gleisner, Santo Cilauro, Rob Sitch, Jane Kennedy, and Mick Molloy. After The D-Generation, he co-created and starred in the cult comedy television shows Jimeoin and Shaun Micallef's Mad as Hell.

He has also written for numerous television shows, including The Micallef Program, Full Frontal, and Utopia. As an actor, he has appeared in films such as The Castle, Bad Eggs, Predestination, and Judy & Punch.
